My First Thought on Finale Paper

I need to go back to each topic of the week, and read those texts again. I should further find one or two relevant papers.

My first thought on the final paper could be:

Drawing from the readings, I would like to look at how the print press (could be the New York Times) covered the human-internet relationships, the virtual reality, identity, the on-line community, and if possible, the ICTs. Can some of the theories be applied to the practical coverage? Are those coverage having some bias? What, in terms of language use, and the concepts of ICTs, can be found in the print press?

I think this is an interesting direction to go in. You may want to choose one technology or topic, though - this is a class paper, not a thesis, and I can see you being overwhelmed with articles if you were to look at all of the topics you listed. I would say choose one topic to focus on - virtual reality, online community, or maybe some time of social software like blogs or social networks. Another thing to think about is what framework or tool you'll use to analyze the articles. Discourse analysis, focusing on the language? Qualitative analysis to look for themes across the articles? Content analysis?
